A photo blog from my solo ride that had lasted 1800 kms and 6 days into the Western ghats around Maharashtra – a ride that had been offbeat, and through the villages and landscapes tucked away in the Sahydris.

A lift into the Ghats? Sure, ride on.

To click or to stare, that was the question.

And that’s how the students went about learning about the world…

While the Topi clad-and-dressed in white- uncles sipped away their teas
¶¶
¶¶
“The Negative Energy shall not pass”, they ensured.
¶¶
¶¶
These guys have not heard of the closely packed urban flats, even their huts have personal spaces…

As if anything could be more Royal…
¶¶
¶¶
“Mesmerizing people since they started to exist.” – Ghats
¶¶
¶¶
In the ghats or through the fields, Green rules.
¶¶
¶¶
“Where do you stay?”, they asked and I couldn’t open my mouth.
¶¶
¶¶
But hardships are a part of life, no?
¶¶
¶¶
“I see you. You are not from here. But that’s okay.” A lot said her eyes.
